Do I need planning permission?
For most landowners, no. Hosting campers for fewer than 28 days per year in Sweden typically doesn't require planning permission. We'll guide you through what applies when you list.
What if a guest damages something?
All KAMPSTA bookings include host protection cover up to SEK 50,000 per booking. File a claim through your host dashboard within 48 hours of checkout.
How does KAMPSTA handle payments?
Guests pay at booking. We hold it in escrow and release to your account 24 hours after check-in. KAMPSTA takes 6% — you keep 94%. Payouts go weekly to your Swedish bank account.
Can I set my own rules and availability?
Completely. You control which dates you accept, vehicle types, quiet hours, pet rules, and minimum stay. Block dates instantly from your calendar anytime.
Do I need to be home when guests arrive?
Not necessarily. Many POP hosts use self check-in with a gate code. Some prefer to greet guests in person. It's entirely up to you.
