Welcome to KAMPSTA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KAMPSTA platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services operated by KAMPSTA AB ("KAMPSTA", "we", "our", or "us"), a company incorporated in Sweden (registration number 559312-4871) with its registered address at Djurgårdsvägen 12, 115 21 Stockholm, Sweden.
By creating an account, accessing our platform, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice on the platform. Your continued use of KAMPSTA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
To use KAMPSTA, you must:
By using KAMPSTA, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. KAMPSTA reserves the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet our requirements.
You must create an account to book a stay or list a campsite. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
KAMPSTA requires identity verification for all users. You must submit a valid government-issued photo ID and complete our biometric verification process. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access to any user who cannot be successfully verified.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately at [email protected]. KAMPSTA is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where you failed to take reasonable precautions.
Each person may maintain only one active KAMPSTA account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, verification requirements, or review policies is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in permanent removal from the platform.
KAMPSTA provides a marketplace that enables guests to discover and book outdoor accommodation listed by hosts. When a booking is made, KAMPSTA collects payment from the guest, holds it in escrow, and releases it to the host 24 hours after the guest's confirmed check-in.
KAMPSTA charges hosts a service fee of 6% of the booking value for each completed stay. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, trust and safety operations, and customer support. The fee is deducted from the host's payout automatically.
Cancellation policies are set by hosts and are displayed clearly on each listing before booking. Guests should read the cancellation policy carefully before confirming a booking. KAMPSTA will always honour the policy displayed at the time of booking.
All payments are processed by our payment partner Stripe. KAMPSTA does not store full card details. Payments are subject to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. In cases of suspected fraud, KAMPSTA may delay or withhold payouts pending investigation.
As a guest, you agree to:
Guests who cause damage to a host's property may be charged for repairs or replacement costs. KAMPSTA may debit amounts owed from your payment method on file following a dispute resolution process.
As a host, you agree to:
You are solely responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes on your hosting income. KAMPSTA will provide annual earning summaries to assist with your tax reporting but does not provide tax advice.
KAMPSTA is a technology platform and marketplace. We are not a party to the accommodation contract between guest and host, and we do not own, operate, manage, or control any listed campsite.
Our role is to facilitate the connection, process payments securely, provide trust and safety tools, and offer support when things go wrong. We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, nor for the conduct of any guest or host.
Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on the reviewer's genuine first-hand experience. Reviews that are fake, retaliatory, discriminatory, or in violation of our content policy will be removed. Both guests and hosts may leave reviews following a completed stay. Reviews are published simultaneously to prevent retaliation.
KAMPSTA reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our policies but will never remove a valid review simply because a party disagrees with it or finds it unfavourable.
You must not use KAMPSTA to:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without notice. Serious violations will be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
The KAMPSTA name, logo, platform design, and technology are owned by KAMPSTA AB and protected by Swedish and international intellectual property law. You may not use our brand assets without written permission.
By uploading photos, descriptions, or other content to KAMPSTA, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content on the platform and in our marketing materials. You retain ownership of your content and may remove it at any time by deleting your listing or account.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KAMPSTA's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to KAMPSTA in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) SEK 5,000.
KAMPSTA is not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of profits or revenue; loss of data; personal injury or property damage caused by a host, guest, or third party; or any event outside our reasonable control.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Pending bookings must be resolved before deletion — you cannot delete an account with active reservations.
KAMPSTA may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Where possible we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond, but we reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of KAMPSTA that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
